1Introduction and acceptance of the terms

Welcome to doccb.app, the DOCCB Archive website, owned and operated by the Digital Platform for Information Technology, headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. By using the site or purchasing any of our products or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to any of them, please stop using the site and the services.

2Definitions

• Products: the software and systems offered through the site, including, for example, DOCCB Archive, DOCCB PDF Signer, the Administrative Communications system (CMS), the Nova archive management system, and any products introduced later.
• License: a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use a product according to the purchased plan.
• Customer: any natural or legal person who purchases or uses the products or services.
• Services: installation, configuration, technical support, training and any other supporting services.

3Scope of service

The site offers and sells licenses for ready-made software, and services related to it. Products are delivered electronically through download links and/or activation keys and/or the preparation of a working environment, according to the nature of each product and the chosen plan.

4Eligibility and accounts

• Users must be at least eighteen years old, or act with the approval of their legal representative, and must have the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
• The customer undertakes to provide accurate, up-to-date information when purchasing or registering, and is responsible for keeping their sign-in credentials confidential.
• We may suspend or cancel any account used in violation of these terms or of the laws applicable in Saudi Arabia.

5Licensing and intellectual property

• All products, software, content, trademarks and logos shown on the site are owned by or licensed to the Digital Platform, and are protected under the copyright and intellectual-property laws of Saudi Arabia.
• Purchasing a product grants the customer a usage license only, and transfers no intellectual-property rights.
• The customer may not: resell, rent out or assign the license without written approval; copy the software beyond the scope of the license; reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to bypass the licensing and protection mechanisms; or use the product in any unlawful activity.
• The scope of the license (number of users, devices or entities) is defined by the plan described on the product page or in the quote.

6Pricing, payment and invoicing

• Prices are shown in Saudi riyals, and product pages state whether they include value-added tax (15%) or not.
• An electronic tax invoice compliant with the requirements of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) is issued for every purchase.
• Payment is made through the payment methods shown on the site, and an order is confirmed only after the full amount is paid, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
• We may adjust prices at any time, provided the adjustment does not apply to orders confirmed before it.

7Delivery and activation

• Digital products are delivered via the registered email address or the customer portal within the period stated on the product page — normally within 5 business days of payment confirmation, unless stated otherwise.
• Services requiring installation or configuration are carried out on a schedule agreed with the customer.
• A product is considered delivered once the download link or activation key is sent, or access to the system is enabled.

8Technical support and updates

• Each product includes the scope of support and updates stated on its page or in the quote (support period, contact channels, response times).
• Technical support does not cover faults caused by the customer's modifications to the system, an operating environment that does not meet the published requirements, or misuse.

9Prohibited use

The customer undertakes not to use the site or the products in: any activity that violates the laws applicable in Saudi Arabia, infringement of others' rights, publishing or processing unlawful content, or attempts to harm the site, its systems or its users.

10Warranties and limits of liability

• We undertake that the products work according to their published description and specifications when used in the recommended technical environment.
• We do not guarantee that the software is absolutely free of errors, and we undertake to address material errors reported during the support period.
• The customer is responsible for backing up their data unless the service document states otherwise.
• In all cases our contractual liability does not exceed the amounts paid for the product or service in question, to the extent permitted by law, and without prejudice to the consumer rights established by law.

11Exchange and refund

Exchange and refund requests are governed by the Exchange & Refund Policy published on the site, which forms an integral part of these terms.

12Privacy and data protection

We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law of Saudi Arabia, as described in the Privacy Policy.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; updates are published on this page with the date of the last update. Continuing to use the site after a change is published constitutes acceptance of it.

14Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws applicable in Saudi Arabia, including the E-Commerce Law and its regulations. Care is taken to settle any dispute amicably within sixty (60) days of notice; otherwise it is referred to the competent judicial authority in Saudi Arabia.
